By combining a career in sports with the business
environment, Ciprian Marica quickly evolved into
more than just a successful former athlete & a sports
benchmark for Romania. He became a true
trendsetter and ambassador through his values.
He achieved his goals through sacrifices and a
commitment to excellence.
From a sports perspective, Ciprian Marica played in 71
matches for the national team, representing them
between 2003 and 2014, during
which he scored 25 goals.
Ciprian was awarded the “Meritul Sportiv” Medal -
Third Class, by the President of Romania, Traian
Băsescu. This recognition was bestowed upon him
for being part of the Romanian national team that
successfully qualified for the 2008 UEFA European
Championship.
Ciprian achieved his first double in a national team
victory during the return match of the UEFA Euro
2012 Qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Notably, he also captained the national team for the
first time in the match marking the retirement of
Ronaldo, against Brazil (0-1), in a game from the
South American tournament.

Having studied at UEFA, at the Spanish and Swiss Football Federations, and having completed an internship at Schalke
in Germany, he developed a second career in sports management.
After completing this process and enriching his expertise in the field, he invested in a significant brand, namely Farul
Constanța. At the time of his involvement, the club was not in a stable situation, but together with Gică Hagi and Gică
Popescu, they managed to bring the club to the forefront of Romanian football.
Now he uses his knowledge to pass on everything he has accumulated in sports, both as a sports role model and as a
model of modern leadership, through the ambitious project Năstase & Marica Sports Club, and the Ciprian Marica
Football Academy. Situated in the immediate vicinity of a very popular business district of Bucharest , the sports club
features a variety of facilities for fotball, tennis and other sports.
He took over a sports facility, Voința, which was in ruins. He made significant investments and manage to bring it to
international standards, resulting in the present “Năstase&Marica Sports Club” (1 million euros in the base
infrastructure, 1.5 million euros in the Ilie Nastase tennis arenas, and 1.5 million euros in a football stadium with a
capacity of 1500 seats, along with 2 covered mini football fields).

activates a real estate investor.
